Have I mentioned what an awesome husband I have? I love him so much!! So, my husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday, but he didn't know what to get me and I never know what I want. (everything I want is so expensive!! haha) So, we have been planning to move into a new apartment that has a washer and dryer hook-ups and ac (I don't know if I can handle another summer without ac, especially with a new baby!). As nice as washer and dryer hook-ups are, it is even nicer to have a washer and dryer to go with them, which we didn't have. ;) (We have been doing our laundry at my parents house and I really want to be able to do laundry at my own place, whenever I want, when I have a new baby.) Since we don't have much money, my adorable husband was going to second hand places looking for some good ones- and taking my Mommy with him since he said he doesn't know anything about washer and dryers... Hehe he's so cute! Well, he bought me (us) a washer and dryer! I know that might seem weird to some people, but I thought that he was so thoughtful and cute. Well, things didn't work out so well with the apartment, so he had nothing to give me. (We don't have anywhere to put the washer and dryer right now, so they are still at the store.) He felt bad because he wanted me to have something to open. Well, I also was in need of some maternity clothes and had found some online at Old Navy, so he told me to buy them. So, I did, and they got here the day before my birthday party (we celebrated on Saturday, not Sunday, because my Dad had to leave on Sunday morning for Washington D.C.). But, Gus didn't think that was enough. (For money conscience me, I thought it was more then enough!) He also bought me a book I had thought looked interesting and two movies (Real Steel and the Help). My parents also got me some clothes and my sister got me a necklace and my younger brother gave me coupons for massages- which I am looking forward to, a lot! My family is so good to me! I love them soooooooo very much!! Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am!
And!!! I went to my doctors appointment and had my Gestational Diabetes test and it came out normal. I was so happy! I thought for sure that I would have Gestational Diabetes because diabetes runs on both sides of my family and my Mom had Gestational Diabetes with my younger sister, plus, I love sweets! haha, I do try to eat right though. My doctor said that my belly was measuring good and we get to have an ultrasound next week. It will be our next official ultrasound since our eight week one to check for the heart beat. We are excited!
